Deck Review: Daily Magic Deck by Maia Toll [Gifted]

Emma shares her morning rituals as well as reviews the Daily Magic Tarot Deck [Gifted]

It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos of everyday life and to feel guilty about not connecting spiritually as often as you like. There are only so many ways that you can add a bit of magick to a corporate meeting room, right? This is why getting into the habit of performing small daily rituals can really help with maintaining some regularity in your witchcraft practice and provides a center for your day.

I personally like to do my routines first thing in the morning when I’m able (and life often gets in the way so please don’t think I have my life together) These practices include:

  • Morning Coffee & Cinnamon – Stirring some cinnamon into my morning coffee whilst I set my days intentions is a great way to bring some abundance and focus into my groggy mornings
  • Sneaky lil’ Meditation – I try to sneak a quick meditation – which doesn’t have to be longer than a few minutes to help clear your mind. If it’s one of those days then I’ll lay in bed and just clear my mind and plan the day for 10 minutes before I get out of the pit.
  •  Pulling my tarot cards -Either a 1 or 3 tarot card pull each day to help guide my day. Journaling my tarot readings and patterns  is never a problem, as well, it’s kinda my job so it’s ingrained in me to do it…. but I do find myself staring at an empathy journal page from time to time if I am not using my tarot cards.
  • Journaling – I feel the need to write throughout the day as the inspiration (and ADHD) flows but for some reason my morning journaling is a weak point if I don’t have a tool.

Journaling being my soft spot  is why I was delighted to be gifted the Magickal card deck, ‘Daily Magic’ so that I could do a wee honest review.. I am never one to turn down a change to shuffle and pull a few cards and share my opinions so I grabbed my journal and got shuffling.

Daily Magic Mystical inspiration deck

Product Review:

Entitled the Daily Magic: A Deck Of Mystical Inspiration for Your Everyday Life, it certainly looks the part with fabulous shades of green being featured on the deck’s encasing.  The cards also have a gold gilded edge which does please me I won’t lie and it’s currently held up after a few weeks use so this is a good sign.

Please note if you prefer the larger sized card decks or just have big hands that the deck is on the smaller side  (approx. 2 1/2 X 3″) – perfect for keeping in your palm or pocket and for traveling – which if you are anything like me (A swamp witch who carries a witchy version of a Mary Poppins bag) is a preferred criteria. Everyone likes their cards a certain way and we don’t card shame here.

The booklet is a few pages long, so short but sweet and features Maia’s advice on how to connect to magic in the modern world but doesn’t go too indepth into much detail therefore I’d recommend these cards for people wanting to learn more about spirituality who don’t mind having to research some of the areas that are mentioned on the cards, as well as other Magickal deck lovers.

The cards feature instructions for spells that you can action over the Lunar Calendar as well as other tips and insights that can help encourage more self insight into your practice.

The main attraction for me is that they serve as daily prompts to help build a magic routine. I found myself using them for meditating over my morning coffee as well as journaling prompts, which I appreciated on my more groggier mornings. The tips were useful and I have used a few in my practices which do earn brownie points. I have found myself still pulling from the deck, daily and I’ve since given them a home in a tarot bag that my niece brought me for my birthday. Packaging wise, I’d recommend getting a bag to carry your cards in as the packaging that the cards arrive in isn’t great for long term use.

Example of the witch tips on how to supercharge your magic

Good for gifting?

Yes! – This type of deck makes the perfect gifts for anyone who has expressed an interest in their spiritual side or is openly witchy. They do mention some subjects which a novice may have to find themselves having to research so I wouldn’t recommend it for a beginner who wants a tool where they have everything they need right there and then. Overall, a lovely little gift to give to a friend (or yourself) that has long term use.

Pros:

  • A lot of good information and encourages further learning and journal prompts
  • Large number of cards in the deck
  • Travel sized .
  • Gold lined and green hued cards feed my mermaid/pisces dopamine receptors.
  • Friendly tone of voice

Cons?

  • The Booklet could be a bit longer but you do get a lot of cards for the price
  • If you are going to use the cards regularly or travel with them, I’d recommend getting a carry bag or case for the cards to keep them in good nick. For light use the packaging is fine and will look pretty on the shelf.
  • If you’re a grumpy cynical person you may find some of the wording fluffy or whimsical at times

Rating:

8/10

20 Versatile Ways to Harness the Power of Moon Water in Your Spiritual Practice

20 fabulous ways that you use Moonwater to super charge your witchcraft and spiritual practice.

I simply adore making Moon water, and like many witches it was one of the first rituals I started performing as a practicing witch. What I love about Moon water is that it is so versatile. When I started making this list I didn’t expect it to end up as long as it did and I fully expect to make a part two to this as I continue down this spiritual road and we share ideas.

Here’s a list of ways you can use Moon water:

Cleansing and Purification: Use Moon water to cleanse and purify yourself, objects, or spaces of negative energy. Sprinkle or spray it around your home or sacred space. It makes the perfect ingredient to a room spray.

Bathing and Showering: Make washing even more magickal by adding moon water to your bath or mixing it with your shower gel to help you cleanse and refresh your energy.

Altar Offerings: Use as an offering on altars, particularly those dedicated to lunar deities or during lunar rituals – if that is your practice.

Charging Crystals and Gemstones: Place crystals and gemstones in a bowl of moon water under the moonlight to cleanse and charge their energy. Make sure to check that the Crystals are safe to use in water.

Anointing: Use moon water to anoint candles, tools, or yourself during rituals or spells for added lunar energy.

Drinking: Make sure that the water is safe to drink first but the consumption of moon water is believed to promote intuition, psychic abilities, and spiritual insight.

Dreamwork: Drink a small amount of moon water before sleep to enhance dream recall and promote lucid and intuitive dreaming.

Plant Care: I love to water my plants with moon water when I am manifesting something as it helps me focus and I can see something develop from my attention to it. You can also water your plants with moon water to promote growth and vitality, especially during the full moon. Good plant parenting right there.

Divination: This will certainly need to be a larger article but one way you can use moon water as a scrying tool is by placing it in a black bowl or mirror to enhance your divination practices. It’s also really useful to sprinkle around any areas where you perform readings and want to do a quick space cleanse.

Magical Ink: This is something I’m exploring more at the minute so I will report on all my findings soon but you can use moon water as a base for creating magical inks or writing spells, intentions, or sigils. Fabulous, right?

Ritual Baths: Take a ritual bath with moon water to align your energy with the moon’s cycles and intentions…or just take a witchy bath whenever, we advocate for romantising your life here.

Making Moon Tea: Who doesn’t love a good cuppa? Mind you, I would say that as a Brit. Use Moon water to brew herbal teas to infuse them with lunar energy.

Energy Cleansing Tools: Soak crystals, pendulums, or other divination tools in moon water to cleanse and reset their energy.

Empowering Jewellery: Empower your jewellery, such as rings, necklaces, or amulets, by soaking them in moon water. Also great for cleansing proactive jewerllery – or in general.

Enhancing Spells: Add moon water to spell jars, potions, or spellwork to enhance their potency and connection to lunar energies.

Charging Tarot or Oracle Decks: Place your tarot or oracle cards in moonlight while resting on a dish of moon water to cleanse and charge them.

Spiritual Bath Salts: Mix moon water with Epsom salts and essential oils for a luxurious and spiritually cleansing bath.

Emotional Healing: Use moon water in emotional healing rituals or practices, as it is believed to provide emotional balance and support – maybe use in a oil burner when performing shadow work.

Manifestation: Super charge your manifestations by choosing the perfect Moon phase for your goals. Write your intentions or desires on a piece of paper, soak it in moon water, and let it dry in the moonlight.

Offerings to Deities: Check in and use moon water as an offering to deities during rituals and prayers.

Phew, I will leave it 20 for now but let us know how you use Moon water below in our comments or via our social media.

Remember that the specific use of moon water may vary depending on your personal beliefs and spiritual practices.

Always use moon water with respect for its symbolic and energetic properties. Make sure that you collect moon water safely, using only clean containers and following hygiene guidelines if you plan to ingest it.

How to make Moon Water

UK Tarot Reader and Witch Emma teaches us about the enchanting world of Moon water and the ways it supercharges your witchcraft.

The New Moon is in Virgo on the 15th September so I thought it would be timely to learn more about the enchanting world of Moon water and the ways it supercharges your witchcraft. Whether you’re a seasoned witch or just dipping your toes into the magical waters, harnessing the power of the Moon and its cycles can add a celestial touch to your craft. Plus….it’s really bloody fun. Who doesn’t like making a lil ceremony out of things, huh?

Today, we’re gonna dive into the process of making Moon water during the new Moon and explore the ways you can use this elixir in your spells and rituals.

Making Moon Water:

How to make Moon water from your very own home is simple, just follow the below instructions.

What you will need to make moon water:

  • A clean glass or crystal container – preferably with a lid
  • Pure, clean water – spring or filtered works best and tap is fine
  • A quiet, sacred space under the night sky – if you don’t have access to any outdoor space then a shelf or window sill works.
  • Patience and intent – Make sure you know what your New Moon intentions are before you begin the Moon Water process.

A witch holding a glass of wine” by freestocks.org is marked with CC0 1.0.

How to make Moon Water:

Now you have everything that you need please follow these next steps to make your New Moon Water.

  • Choose Your Moon Water  Container: Select a clear, glass or crystal container for your Moon water. The container should be clean and free from any contaminants especially if you plan to drink the water. If you can only get clear plastic etc that is fine.
  • Setting the Stage: Find a quiet, sacred space outdoors where you can place your container. The new Moon phase is the ideal time to connect with the Moon’s energy, as it represents new beginnings and fresh intentions. If you don’t have access to outside space then you can store your Moon water on a shelf or window sill so it can bask in the Moonlight.
  • Fill Your Container: Pour your chosen water into the container and make sure that it is sealed tight so no little nasties get in there! [Optional] You can also add herbs and other ingredients to help flavour the water and/or build the intent.
  • Select Your Crystal [optional]: Placing a crystal by your water can infuse it with additional energy. Quartz crystals are versatile and work well for most intentions, but you can choose one that resonates with your specific goal. PLEASE NOTE: Putting crystals in the water is risky so please don’t do this or check with an expert before you do if you plan to consume the water.
  • Set Your Intentions: As you place your container in the Moonlight, focus on your intentions for this Moon water. What do you want to manifest in your life? Visualise this goal and set the water with your intent/manifestation. [Optional] You can write down on a piece of paper your goals and leave by the Moon water to set your intent and/or you can read aloud your intentions when placing your water in it’s charging location. I like to use music to get me into the magickal head space as well.
  • Leave It to Charge: Leave the container under the Moonlight for the entire night, ideally from the moment the new Moon is visible until dawn. We all have different life and sleep patterns so these times may vary.
  • Retrieve Your Moon Water: When you wake up, collect your container. Your Moon water is now charged with the energy of the new Moon and your intentions.

Now,  it’s time to use that Moon water to make some magick and there are plenty of ways to use Moon water in your practice.

The Witchy Uses of Moon Water

Now that you’ve crafted yourself some snazzy lil’  Moon water, let’s explore the fascinating ways you can integrate it into your witchcraft. We’ll go more in depth into these ways in further posts but for a general idea:

Spellwork and Rituals: Moon water is a versatile ingredient in spellcasting. Use it to consecrate tools, anoint candles, or enhance the potency of your spells.

Cleansing and Purification: Sprinkle Moon water around your home to cleanse and purify the energy. You can also add a few drops to your bath for a spiritually refreshing experience.

Housework: If you really want to go all the way when it comes to purification and cleansing your space, you can even use Moon water in your housework and daily chores. Adding Moon water to a mix of water and salt is a fabulous cleanser for your floor. Mirror magic? Mixing Moon water with salt and vinegar is great for cleaning your mirrors which capture a lot of energy and can be powerful tools for spell work.

You could even use a larger container especially for the storaging of Moon water for use in cleansing your home throughout the cycle. Now, that is dedication!

Divination Enhancer: Dab Moon water on your third eye (forehead) before a tarot reading or scrying session to enhance your intuitive abilities. You could also do this before bed to encourage psychic dreams.

Meditation Aid: Sip a small amount of Moon water before meditation or bedtime  to help you connect with your inner self and the lunar energies.

Dream Magic: Place a glass of Moon water on your nightstand to encourage lucid and vivid dreaming. Some witches believe it aids in dream interpretation. Putting Moon water on your pulse points before bed can also encourage intuitive dreams.

Charging Crystals and Talismans: Use Moon water to cleanse and charge your crystals and talismans, amplifying their metaphysical properties.

Anointing Tools: Dip your wand, or other magical tools in Moon water to enhance their magical potency. Also great for jewellery and other magical apprael.

Blessing and Protection: Create a protective circle by sprinkling Moon water around your sacred space before rituals or spellcasting.

Beauty and Self-Care: Incorporate moon water into your skincare routine to promote clear, radiant skin and a sense of inner and outer beauty. You can even use Moon water in the bath and wash your face and hair with that extra magical touch. Just make sure to visualise what you are manifesting as you do.

Manifestation: Use Moon water to water plants, symbolizing the nurturing of your intentions and goals (more on this later in the month!). You can also drink it as you visualise your manifestation goals

Cooking and Kitchen Witchery – Using Moon water as an ingredient and to boil things such as tea or pasta helps adds a little extra magic into your meals. You can also use a few drops within stocks to freeze and spread the intention through the Month. Nice!

More Magical recipes here

Crafting Moon water during the new Moon and infusing it with your intentions is a delightful way to tap into the Moon’s magical energy. It’s certainly one of the simplest ways to get into practicing monthly rituals and is for beginner witches.  Whether you’re using it in spellwork, cleansing, or self-care, the possibilities for its uses can be tailored to your practice! So, grab your crystals, set your intentions, and let the magic of Moon water help energenise your magic and manifestations 🌙🔮✨

When is the next New Moon?

The next New Moon is 15th September 2023 and will be in Virgo. This is the best time to set your intentions due to it being the last New Moon before Eclipse Season kick starts from 14th October. Eclipses can be chaotic so I don’t personally manifest during time (I learn from my mistakes!) so I use this time to plant the seeds and build the foundations of what I am manifesting before taking a lil break until after eclipse season ends on the 28th Oct.

The remaining New Moons for 2023 are:

14th October 2023

  • New Moon – New Hunter’s Moon

13th November 2023

  • New Moon – New Beaver Moon

12th December 2023

  • New Moon – New Cold Moon

Description: Nature is what gives us life—it is the source of all magic and power in the world. That is something that humans have understood since the beginning of time, and it is a constant among cultures around the world. However, the ways in which we celebrate it can vary wildly. Bulgarian Baba Marta Day welcomes the arrival of Spring with Martenitsas, little talismans of red and white string, while in Southeast Asia, that same yearly event is celebrated during Holi, a joyful, riotous dance of colors. Yalda, Soyal, Saturnalia, Dong Zhi, and St.Lucia’s Day (from Iran, Arizona, Ancient Rome, China, and Scandinavia) are all very different—but they all honor the Winter Solstice.

The Synopsis:

Secrets. Lies. Witchcraft… This is OUR CROOKED HEARTS, a gripping mystery crossed with a pitch-dark tale of modern-day witchcraft, perfect for YA and adult readers.

A dark, compelling and magical suburban fantasy, Melissa Albert takes two women from one family line and seamlessly interweaves a tale of past and present, familiarity and uncanny, light and darkness. It’s a story of mothers and their daughters and of difficult relationships, a story of impossible choices and of secrets held close in the dark; of manipulation for good, bad and for worse…

About The Author:

Melissa Albert is the New York Times and indie bestselling author of the Hazel Wood series (The Hazel Wood, The Night Country, Tales from the Hinterland) and a former bookseller and YA lit blogger. Her work has been translated into more than twenty languages and included in the New York Times list of Notable Children’s Books. She lives in Brooklyn with her family.

EERIE, EVOCATIVE, AND ELECTRIFYINGLY BRILLIANT. I was immediately gripped from the very first page and completely compelled throughout. I already can’t wait to reread it. Melissa Albert’s writing is magic made real.Katherine Webber, author of The Revelry

Digital Coven #Witchytype review:

I usually don’t take to young adult novels but the book was gifted to me by a PR and the story looked interesting so I agreed to give it a read. I wasn’t disappointed, as a teenager, I would’ve gobbled this up in an evening. It had an interesting storyline with actual surprises and wasn’t full of cliques and was very well written. The imagery is fabulous and the characters are interesting enough that you wish to find out what the actual truth is. The author creates a very spooky atmosphere and I’d certainly read another book by this author and I say that as someone who prefers darker more adult stories. Highly recommended for a YA fiction book.

About The Book:

Today we are reviewing  Wicca Herbal Magic A Beginner’s Guide to Herbal Spellcraft  By Lisa Chamberlain.

Myself and  AJ don’t practice Wicca so this review is based on a novice reading the book – if you’ve read the book we’d love to hear your thoughts!

So let’s dive in.

The Synopsis:

Since the beginning of human history, healers and shamans have understood the nutritional, medicinal, and magical properties of herbs. Whether you’re well versed in magic but are just discovering herbs, or are new to  Wicca altogether, this handy guide by popular author Lisa Chamberlain covers all the basics, from creating your own magical garden to the gathering, harvesting, drying, and storing the herbs. She centres the spells around 13  herbs, most easy to find and inexpensive: basil, bay laurel, chamomile, cinnamon, dandelion, elecampane,  hibiscus, lavender, mugwort, nutmeg, rosemary, sage, and thyme. Because they’re primarily culinary and/or medicinal herbs too, you’ll have plenty of options for using the leftovers from your spellwork. The spells include magical teas, baths, and oils to smudging (more on that below), blessing, and healing rituals.

Books Construction:

The book is full of beautiful illustrations and the quality of the book was fantastic. I  love a good hardback with quality paper, what can I say, I am one of those people! It’s also a nice A5 size so good to carry around with you when you are out and about.

Pages: Hardcover: 130

#Witchytype Book Review:

The Positives:

I was worried at first that the book would be very heavy on Wiccan practices but pleasantly surprised that whilst it did discuss wiccan elements, it was also a very informative book about using herbs in general.

It focuses on 13 main herbs which is a great place to build upon your knowledge if you are just getting started and is also a great refresher book if you are experienced but need some herb magick inspirations.

I loved how she went into the various ways that you can perform herb magick such as in cooking and in teas – I’ve even got inspired to revisit my tea-making practices by bringing in new blends.

The Negatives:

As mentioned above, this book is great to use if you are wishing to learn about herbs and it doesn’t go too in-depth into the Wiccan side of practising but if you have strong issues with Wicca, and I am aware some do, then this may not be the best book for you. Otherwise, it’s a great little book to help you really get comfortable working with herbs.

My one and only personal gripe with the book is the use of the word ‘Smudge’ and ‘Smudging Stick’ when discussing smoke cleansing. I know many people use this word but I personally prefer to refer to any form of herbal or natural wood burning cleansing as ‘Smoke Cleansing’ rather than Smudging, as that is a practice performed within a closed practice of some Indigenous peoples of the Americas. They use Sacred white Sage and hold a unique ceremony for the practice of ‘Smudging’ – so it is wrong to use it as a blanket term for smoke cleansing in general as they are two completely different ceremonies and we need to respect them both and appreciate when something is closed and sacred and when something is open for us to explore as a practice. Hopefully, later editions will tweak this wording.

Overall? I highly recommend it and will read other works by Lisa Chamberlain. For those practising Wicca or seeking to start the path of practising Wicca then this is certainly a good investment for you but it’s also got lots of useful information for those wishing to learn general information on Herbs and their magickal uses.

Until next time Coven,

Why is 8th August the luckiest day of the year? – What is The Lions Gate Portal

It’s the 8/8 which means it’s the Lions Gate Portal! Here is how to use it to super charge your manifestations.

Top Level:

  • Key Date: 8th August 2022 is considered the Peak of The Lions Gate Portal.
  • Magick: Is a great time to manifest your goals dreams – if using the moon is the moon phase will be Waxing Gibbous in the sign of Sagittarius. (Also see spells below)
  • Ends:12th August ends.

What is The Lions Gate Portal?

Put simply, The Lions Gate Portal is considered one of the strongest magickal periods of the annual astrological calendar. It celebrates the alignment of Earth, The Sun in Leo, Sirius (The dog star, the brightest star in the sky and not the Harry Potter Character but he does have the star as his namesake) and the constellation Orions belt. This alignment happens every year and at the same time, from 28th July to 12th August.

The activation happens on the 8th of August and is believed to be when the period is at its peak for manifesting and spell work. Yey!

Why is The Lions Gate portal important to witches and spiritual practitioners?

We can use this energy to empower our manifesttaions and spell work. 8th August can often be refered to as the luckiest day of year, so it’s a perfect time to try your luck by going large with your manifestations. Dream house? Go for it. Perfect job change? Make it happen. Want love? Attract that energy to you.

The key to this period is keeping that energy up and truly believe that anything is posible and making sure you’re intent and desires are clearly expressed. Don’t chase, attract, honey!

Astrology:

  • The Sun is the ruler of Leo, therefore when The Sun enters Leo every year to mark Leo season, this creates really positive and powerful energy which is hypercharged during the Lion’s Gate Portal period.
  • Leo is a sign of ‘self’:  ego, of understanding yourself on the inside and how you present outwardly, self-confidence, confidence and bravery. Basically, it’s a perfect time for manifesting the dreams and desires that are associated with you and your goals.  Go big or go home is certainly an apt phrase for Leos and their approach to life and also this period energetically. Therefore, it’s a great period to manifest career or life goals.
  • Locate where Leo is in your birth chart and what house it is in, this will guide you in where you should be focusing your attention when it comes to manifesting goals during this period.

Numerology:

  • 8/8 is considered a very powerful number in numerology meaning: Abundance, luck and growth. The number 8 is considered lucky and powerful in cultures throughout the world.

Symbology:

  • The infinity symbol  ∞ equals 8 and is considered the symbol for manifestation. As above, so below.

How can I use it for my magick?

Some start from the 28th July and build up (like me!) but the peak period is considered to be the 8th of August (8/8) to use this energy in spell work is very simple, so for those just starting out below is a simply but effective way to manifest your desires.

Perfect for beginners:

The Everyday Extra Empowerment:

  • Meditating in the Sun – and visualising what you desire in detail is fabulous way to use that strong the Sun in Leo energy.
  • Journaling – every morning with prompts to help progress you towards your goal.
  • Affirmations – choose 8 affirmations that present what you wish to achieve over the next year and say them to your self in the mirror. I recommend doing an affirmation in mirror every morning anyway.

Simple Manifestaion practice on the day:

  • The Diary Method:

What you will need:

  • Pen or pencil..hey, why not even use a quill, add some drama!
  • Paper (or parchment…you see where I am going here!)

Method:

What is your dream life? No really, what is your dream life and if you were to live your dream life what would you be doing in a day of that desired existense, say, in a years time? Really visualise this and do not hold back. This is your absolute dream. Really think about it and visualise the reality of living it for a few minutes. This will help setup your vibration and help you performed the next step:

  • Get your paper or note book and write the date as a year from now:  8th August 2023
  • Under the date begin to  write a diary entry as if you were living your dream life on that day in a years time. Be detailed, the more detail the better.
  • Once completed, release the intention of what you have just written into the universe, speak out loud or silently to yourself that you are accepting it as done and thank the universe for sending that desire to you.
  • Seal up the letter if not in a notebook and store somewhere safe and don’t open/read for a year.
  • Open in a year and see how much as come true – honestly, I have done this a few times and have aways been surprised!

If you like this method you can regularly keep up entries in your books of spells, grimore or similar. I personally keep a separate manifestation journal which keep writing in to help me maintain focus on my goals and allow me to look back at my progress.

Ritual for those who want a side of ‘ceremony’:

Some of us love to use ingredients in our spell craft , or we just like a bit of drama, some of us it’s both…I certainly love to make things ceremoinial! The Lions Gate Portal is a perfect time to make to add extra ingredients to your usual manifestation methods such as candle, herb and craft magick. The below if simple but effective way to use fire (Leo’s element family) in your manifestion practices.

You will need:

  • Bayleaf – you can get this fresh but store brought is fine, and the one we mainy use at Digital Coven (We should invest in stocks the amount we use it to be fair)
  • A Candle (lighter or matches if you don’t have a candle to hand..all witches run out!)
  • Fireproof bowl or Cauldron

How to Manifest on The Lion Gate Portal:

I personallylike to do these spells in the moon light and outside if posible. I have also lived in a flat and shared houses so rest assured, if you can do either of the things, your magick will be just as potent – this is all about your intent and belief of course…you’re the main ingredient for this spell!

Bay Leaf, Fresh and Dried” by Clint__Budd is licensed under CC BY 2.0.
  • Get a Bay leaf and hold it close, envision the intention/dream/desire that you wish to attract
  • You have to visualise this as if it has already happened making sure to really envision how you will feel when you receive this desire and all the things that you will do with it.
  • Write your intention onto the Bay leaf and burn in the fireprool bowl (or cauldron) . You can use any colour pen but if you have Silver or Gold marker I would recommend using this to further highlight your goals.
  • Release your intention into the universe and give thanks to universe for it abundance. Then, wait and trust the process (it works quicker than you think!)

For more info on using Bayleaf, check out my post on why Baeleaf is Bae and if you’re planning on doing moonwork for these spells then, AJ goes in-depth on her Witchcraft for beginners post here

  • For those working with the moon specifically,  the moon phase will be Waxing Gibbous in the sign of Sagittarius
